Started in the Registered Hereford business in the 1960s in Colorado and then moved to Arizona in 1980. We sold out in 1988 and went into the Limousin business. We finally purchased our Angus foundation heifers in 2005 after moving to Roswell, NM. The ranch is located east of Roswell. Please call for directions.
The mission of 3L Angus is to have quality cattle for the cattleman, with top genetics. Our breeding goals for 3L is to use the genetics that will produce bulls and heifers that will reproduce and be of great quality. The trait emphasis that 3L will be striving for is depth of body and muscling. The bloodlines of the foundation herd is SAR Luke (Hoff Hi Flyer/TC Dividend lines) and QLC B79 Famous (SAF Fame, Donamere Krugerrand and AJS Gunner lines). The bloodlines to be coming up at 3L will be G 13 Structure, QLC LaGrand Forum, QLC Structure, and QLC Foundation (SIRE: Sedgwicks Powerstoke; Paternal Grd Sire: N BAR Emulation EXT). 3L will only use AI sires in their operation. The following sires were used for 2007 calving season: G 13 Structure and QLC LaGrand Forum and in 2008 calving season we will have QLC Foundation and QLC Structure. All the bulls will be for sale from 3L Angus as for the females it will be determined on calving season.
